Make your organic face cream at home with this kit! Deeply moisturises, softens and soothes dry or sensitive skins with a synergy of macadamia and sweet almond oils and neroli essential oil, which helps prevent skin ageing.

Its rich texture penetrates quickly and leaves the skin soft and supple. Use morning and/or evening.

The recycled cardboard box, printed with plant-based ink, contains an Ojova glass jar, pre-measured bottles of rose floral water macadamia oil and sweet almond oil, a bottle of neroli essential oil, a sachet of natural emulsifier, a blank label and instructions for use (for instructions in English, see below).

How to make your organic face cream:
You will need: a small heat-resistant cup (100 to 200ml/3.4 to 6.7oz), a teaspoon and a small saucepan. Wash your hands and utensils thoroughly and disinfect them with 70% alcohol.
1. Prepare a water bath: Warm up water in the saucepan until it boils.
2. Pour the floral water, the vegetable oil(s) and the emulsifier (if present) into the cup. Do not add the essential oil now, you will add it later.
3. Place the cup in the saucepan of boiling water and let the blend heat up for 10 minutes.
4. Remove the cup from the saucepan (taking care not to get burned) and mix thoroughly with a spoon for 10 minutes. The blend will first become a gel, then will thicken as it becomes colder. You will then obtain a shiny and homogenous white cream. It will continue to thicken and reach its final texture after 24 hours.
5. If your kit contains an essential oil, while it is still warm, add exactly 5 drops of essential oil. Pour the mix into the glass jar.
6. You may then write on the label the date until which to use your cream (3 months after preparation).
Your cream is now ready to use!

Caution:
Apply a small amount of the cream on the face and neck, once or twice a day, avoiding the eye contour, prefereably from the bottom of the face to the top.
Close the cap carefully after each use. This is not a sunscreen.
Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children.

Caution with essential oils:
Essential oils are very active and concentrated substances, that must be used with moderation and caution. Carefully follow these guidelines:
-Store the essential oils in their original bottle, vertically, with the cap closed, away from air, light and humidity.
-Keep the bottles out of reach of children.
-The use of essential oils by children, pregnant or breatfeeding women, or people with health problems, is highly restricted. Do not use in these cases unless under control by a specialist doctor.
-Do not ingest without medical advice. If accidentally ingested, contact the closest poison control center and consult a doctor.
-Do not use essential oils for long periods of time without medical advice.
-If applied on the skin, as a massage or bath, essential oils must always be diluted in a suitable solvent, preferably a vegetable oil. The maximum recommended concentration is 0.5% for the face and 1% on the rest of the body.
-Essential oils can be irritant for the skin. Before using an essential oil, test your skin tolerance by applying the essential oil (diluted in a vegetable oil) in the crease of your elbow. If a reaction appears within 24 hours (irritation, redness, burning, stinging), do not use this essential oil.
-This tolerance test must be carried out with specific care by people subject to allergies, especially respiratory allergies and/or asthma.
-Certain essential oils are dermo-caustic: the can provoke irritations, redness or burns when applied to the skin (especially Cinnamon, Exotic Basil, Clove, Mint, Thymol Thyme...). They must therefore be diluted. Carry out the aforementioned skin tolerance test.
-Certain essential oils are photo-toxic: they can provoke irritations and/or spots after exposure to sunlight. If applied to the skin, do not go out into the sune for 24 hours. This concerns especially citrus oils (Lemon, Orange, Bergamot, Grapefruit), Cinnamon, Agelica, Cumin, Tagetes, Lime, Sassafras, Chenopodium... Ojova does not use photo-toxic essential oils in its preparations.
-Never apply pure essential oils on the mucous membranes, the eyes or the genitalia. In case of accidental application, rinse or clean with a vegetable oil and consult your doctor.
-Never inject essential oils by intramuscular or intravenous way.
