VITAQUELL virgin coconut oil is a natural 1st cold pressed oil from the fresh white pulp of coconut.
It is not refined, the authentic aromatic taste of fresh coconut is preserved.
It is ideal to make exotic dishes and perfectly suited to roasted meats, fried foods or pastries.

This coconut oil can also be used for skin care.

Recipe suggestions:

Colombo:
Preparation: 10 min., marinate for 2 hours
Cooking: 40 min.
Stew of your choice (goat kid, lamb, porc or veal)
Ingredients for 4 servings:
Marinade: cider vinegar
Bio planète virgin coconut oil
Crushed garlic
Finely chopped onions
Raisins
Salt, pepper
1 tbsp colombo powder*
Mix the ingredients for the marinade. Dice the meat and let it marinate for 2 hours.
Heat up the Bio Planète coconut oil and fry the pieces of meat quickly, add the rest of the marinade and cover with water. Let it simmer for 40 min. over low heat. Serve with basmati rice.
*cardamom, anise, cloves, black pepper grains, nutmeg, finely ground cinnamon and cayenne pepper.

Fruit crumble
Preparation: 15 min.
Cooking: 30 min.
Ingredients for 4 servings:
4 apples
200g raspberries
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp grated coconut
6 tbsp natural brown sugar
20g butter
20g Bio Planète coconut oil
Cinnamon
Cut the apples in dice, place them in a greased gratin dish and cover with the raspberries. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Knead the cumble with your fingers, mixing the flour, grated coconut, cold butter and Bio planète coconut oil. Cover the fruit with this blend.
Broil for 1/2 hour in the oven. Serve with a little vanilla ice cream.
Tip: Instead of raspberries, you can use other seasonal fruit.

Turkey curry
Preparation: 10 min.
Cooking: 10 min.
Ingredients for 4 servings:
400g turkey
2 tbsp Bio Planète coconut oil
3 to 4 tbsp hot curry powder
500ml unsweetened coconut milk
1 green bell pepper and 1 red bell pepper
150g bamboo shoots
1 or 2 crushed garlic bulbs
1 lemongrass stem
Chicken stock
Salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar
A few basil leaves, finely snipped
1 chili pepper
Dice the meat, fry quickly in the Bio Planète coconut oil with the curry powder. Add a little coconut milk and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Add the chopped vegetables, the stock and the spices, and continue to cook for 10 minutes. Decorate the dish with the basil and chili pepper.
